This beginner program is for those with minimal to no experience. Beginner sailors build a strong foundation of sailing skills, with a significant focus on having fun and safety around the water.

Focusing on Advanced Racing skills with competition and training as a primary driver
Includes 8 weeks of summer sailing and spring training.

Our advanced race team is our most competitive team representing QCYC at some of the top regattas in Ontario.
We have included a minimum of 8 spring training session in May and June as well as 8 weeks of sailing in the summer. The team uses our best Club 420's or sailors are encouraged to BYOB- - Bring your own boat. We will store your 420 for the following winter at no charge.
An additional fee of $1000 will be included at registration to cover regatta costs for instructors as well as coach boat transportation to local regattas. Regatta registration fees and transportation/trailer fees for 420's are not included. Parents are expected to help trailer boats, chaperone and participate in transportation and fundraising.

This session runs on Saturday and Sunday for 2 weekends (4 days total). Catch the 9:15 tender to the island and get back on the 3pm to the city.
Spend 2 days at QCYC learning the fundamentals of sailing a dinghy. This session is great for those new to sailing and wanting to check it out or for those who just need a refresher.
This session runs on Tuesday and Thursday evenings for 4 weeks.
