Youth and Adult Learn to Sail Programs
ALL course include a tender pass for the participant for the rest of the summer. (From the time the course is taken) This includes a tender pass which takes you to/from the Toronto island from the tender station (York and Queens Quay)
A one week Introduction to sailing for our youngest sailors ages 6-8
Focus is on having fun with an introduction to sailing!
Drop-off is at 8:45am and pick-up at 4:15. Extended care is available for purchase

Interested in getting on the water but not sure what sport to try? Spend a week learning multiple watersports including kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding and an introduction to sailing!

Focusing on advanced racing skills and the Cansail 6 curriculum.
Includes almost 9 weeks of summer sailing and 2 months of spring training.
Our advanced race team is our most competitive team representing QCYC at some of the top regattas in Ontario such as Cork.
We have included spring training for both May and June as well as almost 10 weeks of sailing in the summer. The team uses our best Club 420's or sailors are encouraged to BYOB- - Bring your own boat. We will store your 420 for the following winter at no charge.
An additional fee of $600 will be included at registration to cover regatta costs including safety boats and boat transportation to local regattas. Regatta registration fees are not included

This is a full season program and offered to those sailors ready to compete!
Program includes:
Spring training (Saturday and/or Sunday depending on weather in both May and June)
Summer program is from July 2nd -August 29th
Spring Training is 5 sessions starting in June on Saturday and/or Sunday and depending on weather, enrolment and other program events. There is no regattas associated with this session.
- Catch the 10:15 tender over to the island and the 3pm tender back to the city.
Exact dates to be determined once enrolment is confirmed.
4 week sessions
For advanced sailings wanting to compete in local regattas, but not looking to sail the entire summer. This is an a la carte race team with a commitment to at least 4 weeks to work on CanSail 5 or 6 sailing skills. Using Club 420's as assigned.
Regatta fee is included to cover regatta costs including safety boats and boat transportation to local regattas. Boat transportation to away regattas and regatta registration fees are not included.
Please confirm prior to registering who your sail partner will be and ensure you are register for the same session.. If you don't have a partner, one will be assigned to you.

By invitation from CanSail 1/2 instructor, Head instructor or LTS Director
8 week program with an expectation that sailors will participate in 6 weeks. Ratios are expected to be 6:1 (sailor to instructor)
Some charters will be available - please speak with LTS Director or Head Instructor.
Sailors are encouraged to BYOB - Bring your own boat. We will store your OPTI for the following winter at no charge.

This is a full summer program for those looking to develop their skills, compete in regattas and be on the OPTI Race team. Focus will be on "learn to race" as well as skills identified in the CanSail 3/4 curriculum
Program starts July 2 and runs from 8:45-4:15 daily until August 29.
